Allen Lucky Weaver (he/they) is a California native and a proud queer artist of color. He has had nearly twenty years of theatrical experience as an actor which helps inform his choreography. Allen has an affinity for specificity in storytelling, and for the different ways to articulate a story though different mediums such as movement and music. There is more than one way to help tell a story. Allen is a firm believer that when movement is staged or choreographed it should have purpose and support the text, not work against it. He had his big choreographic debut with East West Player’s World Premiere of Paulo K Tiról’s On This Side of The World (2023).
