Scott Nicholson is known for his memorable roles in many film and television productions over his 35 year career as an actor.
Most recently, Scott played Colin Stiles, Logan’s “Best Pal”, and loyal bodyguard, on the multi award winning, Succession for all four seasons of HBO’s acclaimed production. As a member of this cast and for his work Scott was awarded two Screen Actor’s Guild Awards for (Best Ensemble Drama)
You’ve seen him time and again on Law & Order/Criminal Intent/SVU episodes. Other credits include: Mozart in the Jungle (Opposite Gael Garcia Bernal) Monsterland (Opposite Mike Coulter) The Michael J. Fox Show (Opposite Michael J. Fox).
Scott worked on numerous Major Motion Pictures: Notably, with Samuel L. Jackson, in his pivotal subway scene in Die Hard with a Vengeance that was even replicated in the well known Pixar film The Incredibles and in other films such as The Devil’s Own (opposite Harrison Ford) We Own The Night and The Yards (Opposite Joaquin Phoenix) Fresh (opposite Giancarlo Esposito),The Forgotten (with Julianne Moore) & The Wolf of Wall Street (with Jon Bernthal)
Scott started his journey on the stage, and holds a BFA in Theatre from Adelphi University where he was the recipient of the Alexander Barnes Acting Scholarship and worked on many of the Main Stage productions as a lead. Some favorites include:

For over Twenty years Scott’s day job was working as a Police Officer and Detective in the New York City Police Department. An unusual job for and Artist but one that provided many real life experiences and characters to draw upon and research. He moved from the boards of the theater to the Streets of New York and back again projecting a classic silhouette on the Big Screen where he often portrays authority figures. Scott is a true character actor
with leading man gravitas.

Off screen, Scott is also a producer, director & editor currently working on his own docu-series, and can be seen in Maggie Gyllenhaal’s upcoming film The Bride.
