Jacqui Guillen

Jacqui is a bi-lingual New York based actor from México.

“Ni de aqui, ni de allá”, she was born and raised in border towns Matamoros, Tamaulipas, México & Brownsville, Texas.

She’s been a two-time finalist for the Nosotros’ Ya Tu Sabes Monologue Slam hosted by NBC. Guillén received her BFA in Acting from Texas State University & studied with The Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford Upon Avon before relocation to NYC. Her TV/Film credits include, “The Equalizer”, “Subtract Nine Sundays”, “Orange Is The New Black”, “Search Party”, “Blue Bloods”, “Bull”, “Facepaint”, “The Good Cop”, & “Crabs In A Barrel” currently on HBOMax. Theatre credits include “Falcon Girls”, “The Complicated”,  “I Wanna F*Ck Like Romeo And Juliet”, ” Mancave”, “72 Miles To Go…” ,” Then They Forgot About The Rest” , amongst others. She voices Mrs. Martinez in Almas Way .When she’s not acting you can find her cuddling her Jindo bear – Ramona Flowers, learning new tricks on her roller skates and falling in the process, playing her ukulele, making polymer clay earrings, crafting, tackling new recipes ,or gardening. She particularly enjoys growing plants from seeds – she’s successfully grown a full garden, her avocado plant (Avi) and lemon trees- it makes her feel superior.
